Mississippi Music Museum
Located in the historic Hazlehurst Train Depot, the museum celebrates the birthplace of America's music. It takes visitors "back-in-the-day" when the state's musicians lived and created their musical skills.
The displays include Blue Root Station, album art wall, video documentary, vintage posters, memorabilia, and much more.
The museum showcases all Mississippi-born genres of music including blues, country, rock, classical, gospel, and jazz.

A gift shop allows tourists to take away Mississippi music-related souvenires of their visit. The gift shop includes a teachers' corner, handcrafted items, musical instruments, DVDs, CDs, local foods, T-shirts, scrubs, books, bumper stickers and more.
